This weekend I sat down and tried to think of everything that I need to do before the wedding. As you can see from the counter on the side, I am down to 46 days until the wedding. Time to get my poop in a group!
A few things on the to do list:
place cards
programs
rehearsal dinner invitations
newspaper announcement
ceremony details - readings, music, etc.
suits/ties
decorate candles for reception
decide on other reception decorations
finalize details with the Days Inn
gifts for our attendants
get a marriage license
rings
music for the reception
and on, and on, and on.
I quickly have realized that there are more things that I have to get done than I thought. Or I am realizing that I have less time to get everything done than I thought. It doesn't seem like that long ago this wedding was 6 months away, or even 4 months away, but we are down to 6 weeks. The excitement is building but so is the stress. Each day I am trying to get a few more things done, but I also seem to add a few more things to the list. Right now as a type I am thinking...hmm are we going to have a unity candle...probably. I guess I can add buy a unity candle to my list.

Emily Hahn - Matron of Honor
Randy and I both worked with Emily at Daktronics. She always thought that we would be a cute couple. She was one of the first people from work that found out we were officially together and we are still great friends with her today.
Bridget Hoffman
Bridget was one of Randy's many roommates in college. I met Bridget during my internship at Daktronics. Living in Rochester, MN we don't get to see her to often, but have a blast when we get together!
Lori Haase, Amy Welch, Nancy Schilling
Lori, Amy & Nancy all Randy's 3 sisters. The day just wouldn't be the same if all 3 of them were not by my side. We all have such a blast when we get together I wanted them to be right with us on our special day
Kelly Leonhardt
Randy and I met Kelly while working at Dak. Since then she moved to First Bank & Trust and is part of the reason I decided to try something new. Now each day she has to hear all about my wedding plans!
Amy Loftesness - Personal Attendant
Amy is Luke's girlfriend and also the one I can credit with picking out my dress. She has been by my side helping with wedding plans since we got engaged. I know she will be a huge help and a lot of fun August 29th.
Liz Martinson - Personal Attendant
I met Liz while working at First Bank & Trust. She has been very supportive and interested in wedding plans and I know she will be there to help in anyway with wedding plans and at the wedding.
Jonny Christensen - Best Man
Jon is one of Randy's best friend and there was never any doubt that he would be Randy's best man. After elementary school, jr high, and high school you would think these 2 would be sick of each other. That is not the case. Welcome to the wedding party Jon. I couldnt imagine the day without you.
Brandon Duquette (Shag)
Shag was one of Randy's roommates in college. Currently he is serving our country in Afghanistan but will be home in time for the wedding. We are excited to see you Shag!
Luke Decker
Luke is my younger brother and only sibling. As you can tell from the picture, we are all very professional when we get together. Luke you will help make the day fun...I'm sure of it.
Steve Pietila
Randy met Steve when they were both working on the floor at Daktronics. He was also one of Randy's many roommates and ended up living with me for awhile too. He still said yes to being in the wedding party after living with both of us!
Josh Brickhouse
Randy met Josh while working on the manufacturing floor at Daktronics. He is a guy we can always count on, and was a HUGE help with building our house. Sweet ride boys!
Bob Welch
Bob is Randy's brother-in-law, Amy's husband, and was like Randy's older brother growing up. We wish that we all lived a little closer, because we have fun when we get together
Andy Schilling - Usher
Andy is Randy's cousin. Each year they try and go on a cycle trip together. Growing up together has kept these 2 close throughout the years.
Art Hoffman - Usher
Art was yet another one of Randy's roommates in college. He and Bridget live out by Rochester and just welcomed a baby girl into the new year.
Luke Sandve - Usher
Luke is a good friend of ours that now lives in Oklahoma. Luke makes the trip back to Brookings a couple times a year, and its always great to see him.
Mike Ingalls - Usher
Mike is Mary's cousin. Growing up 8 miles apart we spent a lot of time together. He was married last year and made me a part of his day, we wanted him to be albe to share ours too.
Dustin Ingalls - Usher
Dustin is my other cousin - Mike's brother. We grew up doing a lot of things together and have been close as we have grown up. Him and his wife are expecting baby #2 any day. Congrats!
Days Inn
Heated indoor swimming pool, hot tub, executive office, exercise room, game room, and 18 hole mini golf course on property. The Pavilion Bar & Grill is located on the premises offers a wide variety on the menu and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Connecting rooms are available upon request.
